CLEAN WITHOUT THE MESS.
Precision laser cleaning for rust, coatings, carbon, grease and stubborn contamination.
Controlled surface preparation with less reliance on abrasive media and harsh chemical cleaning.
WHAT IS LASER CLEANING?
We use extremely short, high-energy infrared laser pulses to target the surface. Depending on the condition and type of material, a controlled amount of the laser energy is absorbed and converted into heat. This energy is used to vaporise or dislodge surface contaminants such as rust, coatings, carbon and other unwanted material.
Between each pulse, the surface has time to cool, allowing the cleaning process to remain highly controlled. The pulses are delivered in incredibly short intervals — measured in billionths of a second. Because the energy is applied for such a brief period, there is very little time for significant heat to transfer into the underlying material.
By precisely controlling the laser’s fluence, wavelength and pulse duration, we can control how much material is removed with each individual pulse. This makes laser cleaning suitable for applications ranging from rapid, deep rust removal to carefully removing a thin layer of paint or coating while preserving the underlying surface.
WHAT WE CLEAN
Rust • Paint • Carbon • Grease
Novalaze provides precision laser cleaning for the controlled removal of rust, corrosion, paint, coatings, carbon, soot, grease and other contaminants from suitable surfaces.
WHY LASER CLEANING
PRECISION
Remove contaminants from targeted areas while controlling the amount of material being removed.
LESS ABRASIVE
Reduce reliance on abrasive media such as sandblasting, grinding and aggressive mechanical preparation.
LESS CHEMICAL DEPENDENCE
A process that can reduce the need for chemical stripping and cleaning products in suitable applications.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, welding, restoration or further processing.
PRECISION. CONTROL. RESTORATION.
A modern approach to surface cleaning for applications where preparation, control and preservation matter.
